Carme Segura Trullols – Fundadora de l’Escola de Música Segura
L’Escola de Música Segura neix el 1948 sota la direcció de la Sra. Carme Segura Trullols, una de les professores de música més reconegudes a l’escena musical barcelonina durant les dècades dels anys 50, 60, 70 i 80. Fundada amb la voluntat d’apropar la música a tothom, músics de les millors orquestres i bandes de Barcelona van passar per les mans de la Sra. Segura. Entre ells hi destaquen Aureli Vila, Ricard Roda, Lleó Borrell i d’altres com el propi Josep Maria Mainat o Dyango.
Sempre combinant la disciplina en el treball i un ambient familiar i agradable, l’Escola de Música Segura ha treballat al llarg de les últimes dècades, presentant els seus alumnes als diferents conservatoris nacionals i internacionals.
Al 2004, amb la retirada de la Sra. Segura, l’Escola passa a estar sota la direcció de la seva neboda, Anna Estel·la Segura, i de Roberto Mora. Avui en dia, l’Escola continua treballant amb els mateixos valors amb què va ser fundada, adaptats a la realitat del moment actual.
